Research Assistant

Nathan Jones received his master’s degree in politics from the University of Virginia and graduated, phi beta kappa and magna cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree from the University of Virginia and has been awarded the President’s Fellowship. He has a background in quantitative methods and recently received an appointment as Program Scholar to the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research at the University of Michigan for advanced training in statistics. His work for the Pew Partnership focuses on important issues facing American communities such as the characteristics that determine economic growth and the dropout problem.
